Európa ősszel és tavasszal színes, pompás, csillogó kabátba bújik. Felveszi a divatos, stílusos arcát és megmutatja tervezői következő évi tavasz-nyári kollekcióját a divatra oly éhes közönségének.

New York, Párizs, London és Milánó után jön el évente Közép-Európa ideje, hogy felvegye a kesztyűt és megmutassa tehetségeit. Idén sem volt másként. Két napot tölthettünk a szívünknek oly kedves kavalkádban a budapesti divathéten – amit immáron a Mercedes-Benz főszponzori jelenlétével Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe-nak hívnak – és töltődhettünk fel a következő tavasz-nyári kollekciók harsány színeivel és friss formáival a zord, borongós, magyar őszi szürkeségben. Korábban már írtam róla, hogy engem ez a forgatag mennyire inspirál és mennyire szeretek hasonlóan kreativitásra és divatra érzékeny közegben mozogni. Erről idén ismét tanúbizonyságot szereztem, ugyanis két napon keresztül minden egyes divatbemutatót végignéztem és mivel most nem voltak nagy szünetek – hál’ isten, illetve hála a szervezőknek – ezért nonstop a helyszínen is tartózkodtunk. Természetesen a – bár kevés ideig tartó – várakozás remek alkalom volt rá, hogy outfit posztnak való anyagot is készítsünk, de ebből majd később készítek bejegyzést. Mindenekelőtt jöjjenek a képes beszámolók nem csak magyar tervezők tolmácsolásában.

Szerintem idén a szervezők tökéletes munkát végeztek – Design Terminál és alvállalkozói – és mindezek felett tették ezt mosolygósan és kedvesen. Köszönet érte! A helyszín megfelelően elegáns és modern. Az esemény jellegéhez passzol és szép budapesti utcaképet és arculatot mutat a hazánkba látogató divatértő embereknek legyenek azok európaiak vagy érkezzenek a világ bármely részéről. Budapest inspirál!

Szeretném elöljáróban jelezni, hogy a tervezők kollekcióról egyéni, szubjektív véleményeket írok. Mint az tudjátok – bár imádom a divatot és jómagam is foglalkozom ruhák tervezésével, varrásával – nem vagyok divattervező, sőt képzőművészeti szakon sem végeztem. De van mögöttem jó néhány év tapasztalat, melyet a divat és különféle stílusok kutatásával, vizsgálásával töltöttem és kialakítottam a saját, egyedi énképemet és stílusomat. Lássuk tehát a kedvenc magyar divattervezőimet az én tükrömben.

Ezek az első nap eseményei, de holnap jön a második nap, hasonló gyönyörűségekkel! Stay tuned!

MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK CENTRAL EUROPE – day 1

At autumn and at spring Europe puts on a colorful, splendid, glaring coat. It puts on its fashionable, stylish face and shows its designers’ collections for the next spring-summer to the audience which is so hungry for fashion.

After New York, Paris, London and Milano it’s Middle Europe’s time to take the challenge of showing its talents. It happened this year again. We could spend two days in the whirl – which is so sweet for us – of Budapest Fashion Week, which – thank to the presence of Mercedes-Benz as a main sponsor – was called Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe and could fuel ourselves up with the loud colours and fresh forms of the next spring/summer – in the cold, gloomy greyness of the Hungarian autumn.

I’ve written about it earlier how much this hustle and bustle inspires me and how much I like to hang around in an environment so hungry for creativity and fashion. This has been proven again as I saw every fashion shows during the two days and as there were no long intervals between them – thank God or thank to the organisers – we have spent every second at the venue. The – not too long – waiting times made it possible to shoot photos for an outfit post, but I will write about it later. First of all let’s see the reports and photos – not only about the Hungarian designers.

I think the organisers (Design Terminal and its subcontractors) performed a perfect work this year, and did it on a kind and smiling way. Thanks for that! It fits the event’s nature and shows a nice scene and image of Budapest to the fashion-expert people arriving from Europe or any other part of the world. Budapest inspires!

As an introduction I’d like to mark that I will write personal, subjective opinions about the collections of the designers. As you may know – although I love fashion and I design and saw clothes myself – I’m not a professional designer and didn’t graduate in fine arts. But there’s many years of experience in my past which I spent analysing, researching fashion and I could develop my own style and self-image. Let’s see my favourite Hungarian designers with my eyes.

JE SUIS BELLE

Dalma és Tibi munkája mindig is közel állt a szívemhez. Számomra valahogy ők tudják megfogalmazni a legjobban a nőies formákat a magyar divat szcénában. A következő tavasz-nyári kollekciójuk magáért beszél. Fehérek, ezüstök, csillagok. Imádom, abszolút az én világom. Letisztult, elegáns, légies és nőies. Imádtam a hátkivágásokat, a nadrágot, melynek egyik szára rövidebb a másik hosszabb, a fonott ruhácskát és a szálló, pihekönnyű maxi ruhákat. A csillagos kabátka önmagában is egy álom. A virágszemüvegek pedig… <3

The work of Dalma and Tibi was always close to my heart. For me they are the ones who can word the feminine forms on the best way in the Hungarian fashion scene. Their next spring/summer collection speaks for itself. Whites, silvers, stars. I love it, it’s absolutely my world. Settled, elegant, airy and feminine. I liked very much the back cut-outs, the trousers of which one leg is shorter than the other, the braided little dress and the feather-light maxi dresses. The coat with the stars on it is a dream itself. The sunnieflowers… <3

DORI TOMCSANYI

A retró anyagokkal és printekkel dolgozó Dóri földig érő ingekkel, matrózlány ruhácskákkal belopta magát a szívembe. Ezek a ruhák tökéletesek bármely nyári napra rohangálni a városban vagy koktélozáshoz, vitorlázáshoz, de még egy könnyed nyáresti biciklizéshez is. A hippi nagyhullámos haj és a napszemüvegek tették fel a pontot az i-re.

Dori who is working with retro materials and prints with her floor-lenght shirts, sailor-girl dresses has stolen my heart. These outfits are perfect for any summer day to scuttle in the city or for a cocktail party, sailing but even for a summer evening cycling, too. The hippie, big wave hairs and sunglasses gave completeness.

DOMI GRZYBEK

A lengyel tervező, aki tavaly megnyerte a Gombold Újra! öltözéktervező pályázat díját idén sem hazudtolta meg magát. A jellemzően bézs, kék és púderrózsaszín színekből álló kollekció kulcsszava a rétegezés és a mindent mindennel elv. Merészen választ egymáshoz anyagokat, de leginkább mindig extravagáns. Imádom a rojtokat, az átlátszó textíliákon virító flittereket. Magyarországon sajnos erre nincsen még kereslet. Lehet, hogy nem állunk készen rá, de szerintem inkább nem vagyunk elég bátrak a szuper extravagáns darabok viseléséhez. Pedig…

The Polish designer who won the „Gombold újra!” Central European garment and fashion accessory design competition last year didn’t belie herself this year. The mostly beige, blue and face-powder pink collection’s key word is layering and the „everything with everything” principle. She chooses materials bravely to each other, but she is principally extravagant. I adore the fringes, the spangles on transparent textiles. Sorry to say there’s no demand for these in Hungary yet. We may not be ready for this, but I think more likely we are not brave enough to wear super extravagant pieces. Although…

DORA ABODI

Óóóó Dóra Abodi. A kedvenc magyar show-m. Egy divatblogger legyen pártatlan, tudom, tudom. Bocsássátok meg ezt nekem. Talán leginkább a merészsége tetszik, ahogyan Domi-nál is. Fittyet hány a konvenciókra és olyan egyedi, vérlázító kollekciókat tervez sorra, hogy arra az amerikai szupersztárok is felfigyelnek és veszik is, mint a cukrot. Sőt, legutóbb Madonna stylistja viselte egy ruháját, ahogyan tette azt már Lady Gaga is. Kell ennél többet mondani róla? Nézzétek meg a képeket és ítélkezzetek. Annyit mondok, az ezüst-arany unikornis szandi/papucs egy csoda. Nem feledkezhetünk meg a sminkről sem. A legkomolyabb alkotás volt, ugyanis komplett köveket viseltek a modellek az arcukon az avatar stílusban kialakított smink felett, illetve annak részeként, melyet szépséges fonatokkal lágyítottak a fodrászok.

Oooooh Dora Abodi. My favourite Hungarian show. A fashion blogger should be impartial, I know, I know… Please excuse me for this. I think I like her audacity in particular, as I do Domi’s. She thumbs conventions’s nose and designs collections one after the other that are so flagrant that American superstars take note of them and buy them. Moreover, recently Madonna’s stylist wore one dress of her as did Lady Gaga, too. Is anything more needed to say about her? Look at the photos and judge yourself. I only say that the gold-silver unicorn sandal-slipper is a superstar. And we mustn’t forget the make-ups, either. These were complete pieces of art as complete gems were worn by the models on their faces above the Avatar-style make-ups or as a part of those which were softened by beautiful braids of the hair-stylists.

REKA VAGO X DORA ABODI

Ha két briliáns elme találkozik… Mit nekünk Stella McCartney, ha van egy ilyen tervezőpárosunk. A kollaborációban tervezett cipőik külön fejezetet érdemelnek. A platform csodák 2016 nyarának tuti befutói. Én már az előtérben kiállított virágos szandi láttán is elolvadtam, de a bemutatón felvonultatott arany és ezüst színekben pompázó unikornis – ami egyébként Dora védjegyévé vált – papucsok és szandik láttán szimplán csak nem hittem a szememnek. Szerelem. Első látásra.

When two brilliant minds meet… Why Stella McCartney when we have a designer-partnership like that. The shoes that were designed in collaboration deserve an individual chapter. The platform wonders are the winners of the summer of 2016 for sure. My heart melted beacuse of the flower-decorated sandals exhibited in the lobby, but I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing the unicorn slippers and sandals in gold and silver which were deployed in the show – these became the trade mark of Dori, by the way. Love. For the first sight.
