Szia Napsugár!

Napraforgós fürdőruháról idén már írtam nektek, de végre sikerült elcsípnünk a tényleges virágzást is.

Repce, búza, levendula és pipacs után evidens, hogy szükség volt egy napraforgós sorozatra is. Pláne mert imádom ezt a virágot – ahogyan a korábbi posztomban már írtam is. Azt tudtátok, hogy a napraforgók valójában csak fiatal korukban néznek reggel kelet, este pedig nyugat felé? Miután már kifejlődtek és magukba szívták a lehető legtöbb napfényt beállnak egy adott – jellemzően keleti – irányba és úgy is maradnak. Akár csak az úton elhaladva látunk meg egy nagy napraforgó táblát, akár közvetlen testközelből szemléljük is őket, magát a napfényt szimbolizálják, a könnyed nyári szellőt, a nyaraláson mosolyra forduló arcokat, a családi kirándulásokat, az izzó fiatalságot, a hűs árnyékban beszélgető barátokat, a szabadtéri mozi fülledt hangulatát, az úszást a kutyával, a szabadságot, a bringázást, a kubai dallamokra rázást a forró budapesti éjszakában. Legyen örökké nyár, teleszórva napraforgóval! Nektek mit jelent a nyár?

SUNFLOWER

Hello Sunshine!

I wrote to you about my sunflower pattern swimsuit this year, but we finally managed to catch the blooming, too. After canola, wheat, lavender and poppy we definitely needed a series with sunflowers. Especially because I love this plant – as I wrote in one of my previous posts as well. Did you know that in fact this plant only really looks up east in the morning and west in the evening when they are young? After they already developed and absorbed as many sunshine as they can they strike a pose in a direction – typically to east – and remain there. We may see a large sunflower field on the road passing by, or contemplate them from close proximity, they have relationship with the sun, also symbolize it, the light summer breeze, the smile round faces on a vacation, the family trips, the incandescent youth, the chatting friends in the cool shade, the stuffy atmosphere of an open-air cinema, the swimming with the dog, the freedom, the biking, the dancing to Cuban melodies in the hot, summer nights in Budapest. I need eternal summer, littered with sunflowers! What does summer mean for you?
